Brief Company History

Founded in march 1990, MRA was originally the research and development organization of the Sprague Electric Company. It is now an independent Corporation.

The most important resource of MRA is the professional staff - the people who provide the skills and expertise and whose reputations are renowned and respected in the technical community. The accomplishments of the staff are evidenced by the substantial number of patents and publications they have authored.

MRA Laboratories was originally conceived by the founders as a Materials, Research and Analysis laboratory structured to provide services ranging from research and product development to material evaluation and testing. With a blend of experience and youthful dedication of the technical staff, in just a few short years MRA has expanded into the manufacturing of formulated ceramic dielectric powders, electrode compositions and specialty multilayer devices.
