Device Manufacturing
MRA offers device
manufacturing services for customers who wish to have their raw materials
manufactured into finished components for the purposes of modifying,
testing or improving dielectric or electrode ink formulations; and to
demonstrate to potential customers the performance of their materials
in finished electronic components.
MRA
technology for device manufacturing is based on a unique wet film deposition
process. In this process, ceramic dielectric paint flows over an elevated
weir and falls as a vertical curtain depositing a uniform layer of paint
on moving carrier plates. Internal electrodes are then screen printed
on the dried deposit and the cycle repeated to build the multi-layer
ceramic (MLC) structure.
The
resulting thickness of individual dielectric layers within the fired
multi-layer ceramic can be controlled to as low as 5 microns. The simplicity
of the wet film deposition process and the range in capacities of our
precision paint and print process make our device manufacturing facilities
ideally suited for operations from design feasibility trials to prototyping
to customized manufacturing.
MRA
can also mass-produce custom components for specific applications. A
